Post : Associate Manager - SCM  - CRD/2922
Location : Ahemadnagar(Supa)
Qualification : BE (Mechanical / Production/Industrial / Automobile / Metallurgy)
Experience :  8 to 12 years of experience.

Job Description :
  • Direct procurement & supply chain management activities between newly formed business units at  company WHQ and associates located around the world.
  • Business units include but not limited to Driveline, Metal Formed Products Division and Commercial Vehicle  Group.
  • Direct and coordinate supplier spend and budgeted savings for plants / region.
  • Develop policy and practice to identify and qualify  new suppliers for company.
  • Develop and implement systems to maintain supplier  qualifications.
  • Develop and implement policy regarding quality standards for procurement of commodities, materials and services to include delivery and cost issues;ensure that suppliers adhere to established standards.
  • Follows market price trends and general business activities.
  • Negotiates settlements on rejected or defective material.
  • Ensures timely delivery of materials.
  • Adheres to purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Logistics Management
  • Overall vendor management and vendor costing control.


Competency :

  • Knowledge of commodities, materials, and products being purchased.
  • High level of analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of Purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Computer knowledge, Excel, Power Point, Word.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Costing
  • Quality Systems (ISO/TS-16949)
  • Taxation
  • Customs / Logistics / STPI
  • APQP/PPAP
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
  • Analytical / Problem solving skills
