Post : Design Engineer - CAD - CRD/2891
Location : Pune
Qualification : B. E. Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile
Experience : 4 to 10 years experience in mechanical design in axle, transmission, suspension & sheet metal, casting & forging related components.

Job description:

  • Design by using  CAD system - Unigraphics OR Pro- E OR Catia
  • Model simple or complex parts and assemblies as well as dependent components
  • Apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components with Engineering guidance.
  • Develop new designs and re-designs, using internal or external prints, models, sketches and verbal instructions
  • Create simple to complex concept layouts with Engineering guidance.
  • Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups with Engineering guidance.
  • Follow planning for overall project and component design timing
  • Preliminarily check drawings and models for completeness and accuracy
  • Knowledge of application of dimensions
  • Knowledge of assemblies
  • Knowledge of dependent components
  • Geometric Tolerance Stack-ups (Using CAD system geometry)
  • Project Planning Skills
  • Blueprint reading/interpretation
  • Knowledge of ASME and ANSI industry standards and symbology
Company's Profile : American MNC, in operation from last more than 30 years (since 1978) is leading global designer, manufacturer and supplier of multi-leaf and parabolic springs, heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions for trucks, buses and trailers, integrated and non-integrated axle systems, bumpers and stamped components to the global commercial transportation industry. The company has 18 facilities, 12 manufacturing centers, and five global technical centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, India, China and Australia.  Company is in the process of establishing a new plant at Pune and looking for several candidates / professionals in almost all the functional areas and levels.
