Post : Finance Analyst - Taxation and Costing - CRD/2887
Location : Chennai
Qualification : CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) / M. Com.
Experience : 05 to 10 years

Job Description :
  • Thorough knowledge & Experience on Taxation – TDS, Excise, Service Tax, Excise, Income Tax, Sales Tax, CST, VAT etc.
  • Experience of handling different hearings and assessments for Income Tax, Service Tax and Excise, sales tax.
  • Ensuring Compliance under Direct & Indirect Taxes.
  • Handling Service tax matters and audits
  • Proactively ensure compliance of TDS (Tax deducted at source) and WHT (With Holding Taxes) per applicable tax treaties
  • Plan and manage tax accounts audit, transfer pricing audit
  • Work closely with Finance Manager / Head – Finance on group tax planning initiatives
  • Identify savings or potential savings in direct tax matters and jointly work with units to achieve the same
  • Plan action to reduce risk of litigation and non-compliance of indirect tax law by Units
  • Support Units to handle indirect tax matters (advocates/authorities)
  • Assist Manager Finance / Head Finance in all legal matters
  • Evaluate procurement pricing and look for the cost saving opportunities.
  • Gather, analyze and interpret product cost, financial, statistical and technical data.
  • Experience in Cost Analysis & Variance Reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good in oral and written communication skills
  • Exposure and Experience in oracle would be preferred.
