Post : Prototype Development Engineer/CRD - 2916
Location : Pune
Qualification : B.E (Mechanical/Production)
Experience :6 - 8 years of experience.

Job Description:
  • Should be experienced in selection of appropriate supplier & process for manufacturing prototype parts.
  • Contribution in Design review & take care of manufacturing aspect at design stage.
  • Will be responsible for timely Delivery of proto components.
  • Should be experienced in Cost estimation,Prototype PERT chart monitoring, Prototype quality monitoring,New process development.
  • Should be able to resolve Material & heat treatment related issues during development.
  • Should be experienced in Value engineering and Benchmarking.
Competencies required:
  • Analytical skill.
  • Mechanical Design.
  • Knowledge of materials ,heat treatment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of DVP&R, DFMEA.
  • Knowledge in managing engineering project budget, support Cost Analysis process.
  • Knowledge of product engineering.
  • Present written and technical communication internally and to external customers.
  • Plan, initiate and track engineering projects.
  • Professioncy in CAD - UG/CATIA/Pro-E/Ideas - Modeling/Drafting.
  • GD&T,Tolerance stack-up application skill.
  • Understanding of FEA capabilities & results.
  • Knowledge of Teamcentre.
