• Experience in US GAAPS
• Should be very good in Excel
• Experience in ERP (Oracle Financials)
• Should be able to independently finalize the Books of Accounts
• Coordination with Statutory Auditors, Consultants for Audits & Taxation Matters
• Experience in MIS/ analytics/ Budget preparation
• MIS Reports - Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly, Annual Budget, Project Report, Monthly Forecast.
• Prepare and submission of data to HQ for input to the Hyperion System
• Compliance with SOX in accordance with Company and US GAAP for foreign legal entities.

General Description

Responsible for optimizing the overall cost of materials, develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies, negotiate pricing, terms and agreements for materials that are strategic or specific to the Business Unit. Supervisory responsibility for Purchasing staff within the work cell.

Associated Job Duties

● Analyse and project component purchase prices that accurately reflect the inventory value for a financial period in Standard Costing process.

● Assist hiring manager by participating in recruiting and hiring activities.

● Ensure that work cell Purchasing staff are given proper training, tools and resources to execute their job functions. Develop and facilitate work cell specific training.

● Optimizes overall cost of materials.

● Support, execute and provide inputs to improve Company's SCM initiatives and strategies.

● Improve sourcing options by working with Company's internal resources and customers to add company preferred and or strategic suppliers to the customer's Approved Manufacturer's List (AML).

● Analyse and project component purchase prices that accurately reflect the inventory value for a financial period in Standard Costing process.

● Provide input to determine Quoted cost to the customer that is competitive yet maximises the amount of Materials Price Variance (MPV).

● Continuously optimize MPV by reducing the cost of materials and by limiting unfavorable PPV / MPV. Work with BUM to obtain customers' authorization for additional expenses such as premiums on materials or freight and tooling charges incurred on customer's behalf.

● Monitor, track and provide feedback on suppliers' performance on overall cost, delivery and quality.

● Manage materials that are Business Unit specific and/or strategic.

● Understand suppliers, their capabilities, market trend and technologies for assigned commodities.

● Communicate the Company's expectations to the suppliers. Conduct supplier audit/visits, certifications and performance reviews to develop and continuously improve supply base.

● Develop Supply Chain strategies that are unique to customer or to Business Unit strategic materials. Understand customers' business requirements and work with Purchasing Manager and SCM to determine the best approach to meet the customer needs. Influence customer's supply chain strategies to leverage those of company.

● Work with Materials Quote Analysts to quote new and existing materials. Frequently re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities. Select suppliers based on overall cost and benefit including price, duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality and terms and conditions.

● Negotiate terms and conditions that protect the best interest of Company and its customers. Negotiate liability terms, special stocking arrangements, and other agreements that are outside of standard Company's  terms and conditions.

• strives to achieve excellence in all endeavors. Ensures that process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components, and results in solder quality that meets IPC-610D requirements (or other applicable standard).
• Be a creative and proactive contributor on the management team, focused on continuous improvement at all times.
• Facilitate purchasing requisitions for stationary goods and distribute to members of the same department. Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on their assigned lines in the observation of machine and line performance, and provide guidance in the determination of the necessary steps to achieve optimum machine and process efficiency.
• Provides training to Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Manufacturing Engineering Assistants in subjects such as equipment maintenance and repair; machine programming and optimization; and part-data (PD) file creation.
• Interfaces with Line Supervisors, Machine Support Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers to determine corrective actions needed to optimize machine efficiency and effectiveness (yields).  Creates, documents and implements procedures that ensure continued operational excellence throughout the plant.
• As required, provides expertise and direction to Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Machine Support Technicians on machine adjustments, repairs or other demand-maintenance activity. Manages the coverage of Manufacturing Engineering Technician duties in assigned plant if an MET is absent due to vacation, illness, training or some other reason.  On certain occasions, perform those duties if and when a critical need arises.
• Assists Manufacturing Engineers in determining optimum process performance by assisting with I.R. reflow profiles, wave solder profiles, screen printing of solder paste, designing and manufacturing of necessary tooling, and suggestions for design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Ensures that data integrity functions such as program and PD back-ups are completed regularly on all lines in assigned plant.
• Designs and / or procures production tooling, including stencils, vacuum plates, wave solder pallets and product-specific fixtures and jigs.
• Support the new product introduction process.
