Post : Senior Analyst - Cost Estimating - CRD/2589
Location : Pune
Qualification : ICWA
Experience : Minimum 4 to 8 years manufacturing experience
Job Description :
- Automotive industry experience
- Knowledge of driveline products
- Gather, analyze and interpret product cost, financial, statistical and technical data.
- Analysis of specific product cost, comparable products comparisons, capacity analysis and review of multiple inputs and verification of accuracy.
- Researches local and international cost structures in support of business case development.
- Reviews RFQ packages and Cost Request Cover Letters details with Sales Coordinators.
- Monitors open Cost Requests through four square format and resolves any issues that may delay timing.
- Requires interaction with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
- Manages individual Cost Requests with respect to accuracy, completeness and timing.
- Reviews BOM development with Engineering
- Reviews Purchasing estimates
- Reviews Packaging, Freight, and Duties estimates
- Works with Lead Plant in development of Manufacturing cost
- Develops Business Case. Resolves Cost or Pricing issues
- Reviews final Business Case with Manager and Director of Cost Estimating
- Monitor programs and projects and maintain Cost Books for company awarded business.
- Attends daily Cost Request Meeting, as required.
- Participates in PLT’s and Program Reviews, as required.

- Understanding of Purchasing & Logistics Cost
- Understanding & Experience of Manufacturing Cost
- Experience in Budgeting
- Experience in Cost Analysis & Variance Reporting

Job Description :
- Responsible for leading Program Launch Teams (PLT), Gate Reviews and Program Reviews.
- Maintain Master Timing Schedule.
- Disseminates information within assigned work teams.
- Maintain constant contact with others outside the work group at all company sites.
- Tracks timing and analyzes and reports variances to baseline and prepares exception reports.
- Provide informational interface from all company plants to Corporate Manufacturing Services.
- Maintain all four square tracking forms.
- Participate in executive reviews with key suppliers.
- Responsible for leading the PLT to a successful launch by stimulating interaction between functional groups / challenging team members to contribute proactively to the program’s success / providing tools that promote controlled and measurable progress toward program goals.
- Responsible for implementing or assisting in the implementation of new Program Management practices and procedures.
- Responsible for assisting Product Engineering in managing prototype delivery through rallying additional company resources.
- Responsible to drive responsible groups to drive cost out through negotiation and productivity for the benefit of the program and company overall.
- Responsible to lead or help facilitate special projects related to programs or plants.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Description :
- Responsible for Plan, develop, implement and maintain quality systems & procedures conforming to: ISO 9001- 2000, QS 9000 & TS16949.
- Act as the Management Representative (MR) for the ISO certification of the plant.
- Interact with WHQ on the different Quality issues, Quality meets and Global quality strategies.
- Develop, Implement, control and maintain the quality documentation system in the plant.
- Sampling methods for the incoming material, sampling frequency, checks & evaluations.
- Monitoring of the quality trends for the different quality parameters tested in-process and in the laboratory
- SPC implementation, Cp, Cpk calculations for the critical process & product parameters
- Conducting the Quality awareness program for the operators & quality systems program for the staff
- Calibration schedules, executions for all test equipments, in process test equipments etc.
- Measurement system analysis (MSA) Plan and execution for Lab equipments and instruments.
- PPAP documents for Customers as on requirements.
- Conducting and participating in cross check programs for various Lab tests within Bekaert and customers
- In-process quality parameter checks, frequencies.
- Ensure all the production records of the material being dispatched are available prior to actual dispatch
- Maintain the trend analysis product wise and customer wise for all the test results.
- Coordination and daily follow up on dispatches and Lab activities.
- Customer Complaint Handling and analysis, follow-ups and corrective actions.
- Lot wise samples, process sheets, test reports and test data preservation and retrieval.
- Raw material specification handling and finalizing
- Communications with suppliers for quality issues, corrective actions follow ups.
- Preparing & implementing the calibration schedules for the different equipment in the lab
- Preparing & implementing of the calibration schedule for the equipment in the Lab
- Budget for the capital equipment required, up-gradation of existing equipment, Lab consumables, chemicals etc.
- Calibration Procedure training and execution on Calibration Plans.
- Measurement system analysis training and Plan execution
- Customer requirements awareness and customer complaint
- Overall follow up on Company quality requirements, coordination and audits.
- Audit follow up and corrective actions.
- Communicate the customer complaints, protest, and warnings to the people in the plant.
