• Responsible for leading Program Launch Teams (PLT), Gate Reviews and Program Reviews.
• Maintain Master Timing Schedule.
• Disseminates information within assigned work teams.
• Maintain constant contact with others outside the work group at all company sites.
• Tracks timing and analyzes and reports variances to baseline and prepares exception reports.
• Provide informational interface from all company plants to Corporate Manufacturing Services.
• Maintain all four square tracking forms.
• Participate in executive reviews with key suppliers.
• Responsible for leading the PLT to a successful launch by stimulating interaction between functional groups / challenging team members to contribute proactively to the program’s success / providing tools that promote controlled and measurable progress toward program goals.
• Responsible for implementing or assisting in the implementation of new Program Management practices and procedures.
• Responsible for assisting Product Engineering in managing prototype delivery through rallying additional company resources.
• Responsible to drive responsible groups to drive cost out through negotiation and productivity for the benefit of the program and company overall.
• Responsible to lead or help facilitate special projects related to programs or plants.

Job description:

• Design by using  CAD system - Unigraphics OR Pro- E OR Catia
• Model simple or complex parts and assemblies as well as dependent components
• Apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components with Engineering guidance.
• Develop new designs and re-designs, using internal or external prints, models, sketches and verbal instructions
• Create simple to complex concept layouts with Engineering guidance.
• Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups with Engineering guidance.
• Follow planning for overall project and component design timing
• Preliminarily check drawings and models for completeness and accuracy
• Knowledge of application of dimensions
• Knowledge of assemblies
• Knowledge of dependent components
• Geometric Tolerance Stack-ups (Using CAD system geometry)
• Project Planning Skills
• Blueprint reading/interpretation
• Knowledge of ASME and ANSI industry standards and symbology

• Proficient in CNC programming.
• Working knowledge of SPC (statistical Process Control, MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and Problem solving Tool required.
• Working knowledge of APQP documentation such as PFMEA, Process control plans, etc, required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Machining Theory, Tooling Fixture Design, PPAP, AutoCAD Process, and Flow Diagram., Process Routing Sheets, QS/ISO 149649, Robotic application and program knowledge.
• Good working knowledge of MS office (word, Excel, power Point, etc.) a must.
• Application Engineering & Customer Service handling.
• Be able to write detailed technical reports.
• Must be able to read blue prints and interpret specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficiency in using solid works – CAD modeling for machines design preferred.
• Problem Solving Tools, Business Writing Skills Planning Skills & Organizational Skills.
• Supplier Program Management and Ability to quote and purchase equipment.
